Sports Nutrition Cunsultant

Sports Nutrition ConsultantYesterday my certificate in Sports Nutrition Consulting from Alive Academy of Natural Health came in which now officially allows me to use the Certified Sports Nutrition Consultant (CSNC) designation.  The course covered everything relating to proper nutrition for athletes and sports enthusiasts ranging from the study of macronutrients (Carbohydrates, Fats and Proteins) to micronutrients such as vitamins and minerals, weight maintenance and loss through proper nutrition and exercise, weight gain through proper nutrition and exercise, study of human energy, water consumption, the effects of foods, drugs and related supplements etc.

I’m excited to have finally completed this course as well as my Applied Nutrition course which I completed in March of this year.  Applied NutritionThis marks the completion of two out of three courses I need to finish to get my diploma from Alive Academy of Natural Health.  Alive Academy offers accredited programs in nutrition and natural health related areas.  They’re officially recognized  by organizations such as the American Association of Nutritional Consultants (AANC), American Holistic Health Association (AHHA), Internation Organization of Nutritional Consultants (IONC) and the Canadian Examining Board of Health Care Practitioners (CEBHCP).

When I was looking to take nutrition courses last year I wanted to make sure I found an organization that was accredited and recognized and that provided courses that were up to date, and that focused on natural health and healing through proper diet and nutrition.  If anyone is interested in learning about nutrition you can find the courses they offer on their website at http://www.aliveacademy.com .
